Gainesville, FL – September 20, 2011 – Heat Pipe Technology, Inc., (HPT) a division of MiTek, a Berkshire Hathaway company, today announced that it will be presenting its energy-conservation heat pipe technology at two noted industry events this Fall. HPT will present at the World Energy Engineering Congress (WEEC) in Chicago (October 12-13: booth 823) and at the Design-Build Conference and Expo, in Orlando (October 19-21: booth 642).
These HPT exhibitions come at a time of rising awareness of and demand for information about heat pipe solutions. HPT is a long-time global leader in implementing energy conservation technologies that incorporate the Company’s innovative passive-heat-transfer devices, which HPT employs in large-scale air-conditioning systems. With a 45,000 square foot Gainesville, Florida, facility (30,000 of which is allocated to production), the Company is focused on driving energy conservation, greatly enhancing dehumidification, and improving overall HVAC system performance through energy recovery.
At these two industry events, HPT will also explain its passive wrap-around and moisture removal (dehumidification) systems, which have demonstrably lowered HVAC costs by as much as 50% in various installations around the globe.
“We have had remarkable response rates to our outreach efforts this Summer and Fall, including record-setting attendance for a recent webinar and a spike in overall interest in heat pipe solutions,” said Mazen Awad, HPT’s senior vice president of sales and marketing. “These trade show events are really an extension of the stepped-up outreach we are engaged in to satisfy increased curiosity about HPTs’ products and services.”
